Tell us which device you use, your FinBrisk and system versions, and what happened. A screenshot helps a lot.

FinBrisk’s interface is in Brazilian Portuguese. Below, app labels appear in Portuguese with a translation in parentheses.

Common questions

On Mac, I opened FinBrisk and nothing appeared

FinBrisk has no Dock icon and doesn’t open a window: it lives in the menu bar at the top of the screen, to the left of the system icons. Look for an exchange rate such as $ 5,11, or a small icon. The first time you open it, the panel opens on its own to show you where it is.

On Mac, the menu bar item disappeared

On Macs with a notch, when the menu bar is full, macOS hides the items that don’t fit. Hold Command (⌘) and drag FinBrisk closer to the clock, or remove menu bar items you don’t use. On macOS 26, also check System Settings › Menu Bar to make sure FinBrisk is allowed.

How do I start the 14-day trial?

On Mac, open Preferências (Preferences) and choose Testar 14 dias (Try for 14 days). On iPhone and iPad, open Ajustes → Ver Pro e restaurar compra → Testar 14 dias (Settings → View Pro and restore purchase → Try for 14 days). On Apple Watch, start the trial on the paired iPhone, then open a locked Pro tool on the watch and choose Restaurar (Restore). The trial is a free App Store item: it asks for no payment and nothing is charged when it ends. The app then goes back to free currency conversion with two currencies.

I bought Pro but it isn’t showing

On Mac, choose Preferências → Restaurar compra (Preferences → Restore purchase). On iPhone and iPad, choose Ajustes → Ver Pro e restaurar compra → Restaurar compra (Settings → View Pro and restore purchase → Restore purchase). On Apple Watch, open a locked Pro tool and choose Restaurar (Restore). Use the same Apple Account as the purchase; the single Pro purchase is configured for these platforms.

Exchange rates aren’t updating

Rates come from AwesomeAPI. Offline, FinBrisk shows the last saved rate and indicates when it’s old. When you’re back online, open Currency and use Atualizar (Refresh) on Mac, iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch. watchOS decides when to refresh the watch face complication; opening the app on the watch may fetch a new rate sooner.

How do I read an offer on iPhone or iPad?

Open Tem juros? (Hidden interest check) and choose Usar câmera (Use camera), Escolher foto (Choose photo) or Colar (Paste). The offer must show the upfront price and installments. Text is read on the device; the app doesn’t upload the photo.

The hidden interest check didn’t recognize my offer

Use a clear image showing the upfront price and installments from the same offer. On Mac, you can paste or drag an image; on iPhone and iPad you can also take or choose a photo. It currently recognizes Brazilian price formats.

How do I put the dollar rate on my Apple Watch face?

While editing your watch face, choose FinBrisk’s Dólar (Dollar) complication. It shows the dollar rate in Brazilian reais and uses the last saved rate when offline. The watch face refresh depends on watchOS and may take longer than a refresh inside the app.

How do I get a refund?

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
